Terms of Service

Effective: September 11, 2026 · Version: v2.3-2026-09-11

SMS Terms

Chiller Tech Support LLC d/b/a Service Install provides optional service-related SMS communications for its Service Install shop and helps independently operated shops communicate with their customers. Consent applies to the shop whose form you complete; it does not authorize unrelated shops to message you.

By selecting the separate SMS consent checkbox, you agree to receive service-related text messages, including appointment reminders, scheduling changes, service updates, and invoice notifications. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Consent is not required to create an account or purchase services.

Reply STOP to opt out of text messages or HELP for assistance. For customer support, use serviceinstall.io/contact. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. See our Privacy Policy for how messaging information is handled.

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User,” “you,” or “your”) and Chiller Tech Support LLC d/b/a Service Install, a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of Utah (“Company,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using any portion of the Service Install platform at serviceinstall.io you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you may not use the Services. Our Privacy Policy is incorporated by reference.

2. The Service Install Platform

Service Install is a proprietary AI-native front office owned and operated exclusively by Chiller Tech Support LLC. It is designed for service shops and the teams that serve their customers across office, dispatch, field, billing, and management. The platform includes:

  • Service Install. An always-on front office for service shops. It captures approved calls, texts, email, and web inquiries; resolves customer, site, equipment, and work context; and routes accountable work across office, dispatch, field, billing, and management under the applicable capacity agreement.
  • AI Co-Pilot. An integrated assistant embedded in Service Install that provides informational guidance for diagnostic lookups, upsell recommendations, and technician briefings. AI Co-Pilot outputs are informational tools only — they do not constitute professional engineering advice, licensed trade guidance, or legally binding recommendations.

All product names, features, pricing, and availability are subject to change at the sole discretion of Chiller Tech Support LLC.

3. AI Co-Pilot — consulting tool acknowledgment

All outputs from the Service Install AI Co-Pilot are provided exclusively for informational and operational reference purposes. They do not constitute professional engineering reports, licensed professional opinions, legal evidence, expert witness testimony, or any document that creates binding legal, financial, or professional obligations.

By using the AI Co-Pilot you expressly acknowledge and agree that:

  • You are a qualified shop employee, service technician, dispatcher, or manager with the independent competence to evaluate, verify, and apply any output before acting on it.
  • All outputs carry inherent limitations including inaccuracy and the inability to account for equipment-, site-, customer-, or shop-specific conditions that require direct professional assessment.
  • You assume all risk arising from any action taken or not taken in reliance on any AI Co-Pilot output. Chiller Tech Support LLC accepts no liability for such actions.
  • You will independently verify all outputs against applicable codes, manufacturer documentation, site conditions, and professional judgment before using them for any purpose.

4. Eligibility and accounts

Minimum age. You must be at least 18 years old to use the Services.

Account responsibility. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You must provide accurate information when registering. You may not share your account or transfer access to third parties without authorization.

4a. SMS carrier registration and compliance

By activating text messaging features, you authorize Chiller Tech Support LLC (DBA Service Install) to act as your authorized representative for carrier registration, toll-free verification filings, and compliance-related communications with telecommunications carriers and regulatory bodies on your behalf.

This includes filing business information, contact details, and use-case documentation with carriers as required for toll-free number approval. The Company will use the business domain @serviceinstall.io as the authorized agent contact point for carrier communications. You retain full ownership of your phone numbers and all service records.

This authorization is valid for as long as your subscription remains active and may be revoked upon termination of service. For questions about SMS filing or carrier status, visit your texting settings or contact support.

5. Acceptable use

Permitted use. You may use Service Install for lawful service-shop customer, office, dispatch, field, billing, and management operations subject to these Terms.

Prohibited use. You may not:

  • Use the platform for any illegal, harmful, fraudulent, or abusive purpose.
  • Misrepresent any AI Co-Pilot output as a licensed engineering report, certified expert opinion, or legally binding document without independent professional review and endorsement.
  • Reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract source code or proprietary logic from the platform.
  • Scrape, bulk-extract, or automate data collection from the platform without written consent.
  • Interfere with, disrupt, or circumvent any security, rate limiting, or authentication mechanism.
  • Use the platform as a substitute for emergency services or decisions requiring immediate professional intervention.

6. Content you provide

Your content. You retain ownership of all content you submit (“Input”). By submitting Input you grant Chiller Tech Support LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to store, process, and use that Input to operate the platform as described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

Service documentation. When you upload equipment or vehicle service manuals, wiring diagrams, diagnostic code tables, or similar materials, you represent that you have the lawful right to upload and use those materials for diagnostic and service reference purposes.

Platform operation and improvement. You grant Chiller Tech Support LLC a limited license to store and process Input as needed to provide, secure, support, and improve the Services for your organization. We do not use organization content to train shared AI models unless the organization separately provides explicit written consent, as described in our Privacy Policy.

7. Service documentation and repair rights

Chiller Tech Support LLC supports lawful repair and service work across the trades and any automotive workflows a customer operates. The following governs technical documentation processed on the platform:

  • Organization-owned documentation. All equipment and vehicle service manuals, diagnostic libraries, wiring diagrams, and related documentation uploaded by a subscribing organization remain the exclusive property of that organization. Chiller Tech Support LLC claims no ownership interest beyond what is necessary to operate the platform.
  • Independent repair rights. Subscribing organizations are service providers responsible for confirming their legal right to access and use technical documentation for equipment, systems, or vehicles they are authorized to service. This platform facilitates — but does not expand or restrict — those pre-existing legal rights.
  • Applicable repair-law compliance. Repair-information and right-to-repair requirements vary by trade and jurisdiction. The platform is designed to help authorized shop and service personnel organize information they already have a lawful right to use; each organization remains responsible for its own compliance.
  • Org-scoped isolation. All uploaded documentation is stored in strict organizational isolation. No documentation uploaded by one organization is accessible to or shared with any other organization.
  • No circumvention of manufacturer IP. This platform does not facilitate the reproduction or distribution of manufacturer proprietary content beyond what the subscribing organization already lawfully possesses.

8. Billing and payments

Capacity-tier pricing. The monthly platform fee is based on the organization's service-technician capacity: Team 5 is $499 for up to 5 service technicians, Team 15 is $1,499 for up to 15 service technicians, Team 30 is $2,999 for up to 30 service technicians, and Team 50 is $4,999 for up to 50 service technicians. Organizations with more than 50 service technicians receive a custom order form. Office, dispatch, administrative, management, and owner access is governed by the published capacity for the selected tier. Every organization receives the complete Service Install front office at every tier; no core workflow is withheld. Current pricing is listed at serviceinstall.io/pricing.

Changes in truck count. Organizations may add trucks without being blocked by a wall. If the active truck count crosses into a different tier, the monthly fee moves to the applicable tier at the next billing cycle. Removing trucks can move the fee down at the next billing cycle. Changes are not retroactive, and the organization remains responsible for the current tier through the current billing cycle.

No free trial; activation. There is no free trial and no free tier. The organization's first monthly fee is charged when the account is activated, and platform access begins immediately upon that charge.

Minimum term, billing choice, and early termination. Every standard agreement carries a minimum term of 12 months. Customers may pay monthly throughout the term or prepay annually at the discount displayed during checkout. Monthly billing does not make the agreement month-to-month, and the rate is locked for the active term. If the organization cancels before the end of the committed term, the remaining committed fees become due unless an order form, this policy, or applicable law provides otherwise.

Failed or late invoices. If a monthly invoice is not paid when due, we will provide notice and a grace period (as described on the order form) with reminders on approximately days 1, 3, and 5 before access is paused. A successful payment during the grace period restores the account. Organizations remain responsible for all undisputed fees incurred under their agreement.

All payments are processed through Square and are subject to Square's payment terms. We do not store full payment card data.

9. Subscriptions and cancellation

Agreement terms are non-cancelable once accepted. Cancellation prevents renewal but does not shorten the active term or remove amounts due through its end. Either party may give written non-renewal notice at least 30 days before the renewal date; we send customer reminders 90, 60, and 30 days before renewal.

Either party may terminate for a material breach that remains uncured 30 days after written notice. If Service Install is the breaching party, future monthly invoices after the effective termination date are canceled and any overpayment is refunded. Eligible customers may request a hardship release for 50% of the remaining agreement value. Service-level failures ordinarily result in service credits, and customers receive a 30-day data-export window after termination or expiration. See our Return & Refund Policy.

Chiller Tech Support LLC reserves the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice. A locked monthly rate does not change during its active agreement term; any new price applies only at renewal.

10. Intellectual property

All content, software, trademarks, product names (including Service Install and its AI co-agents), databases, proprietary systems, backend logic, AI models, routing workflows, and other materials on this platform are the exclusive property of Chiller Tech Support LLC or its licensors and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, patent, and trade secret laws. Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you.

You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the platform for its intended purpose during your active subscription. You may not sublicense, sell, rent, lease, transfer, assign, or otherwise dispose of the Services or any part thereof.

11. Prohibition on reverse engineering

You may not: (a) reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to discover the source code, algorithms, routing logic, or underlying architecture of any part of the platform; (b) create derivative works based on the platform; (c) use automated tools or traffic analysis to infer proprietary system behavior; or (d) access the platform's APIs or internal services in any manner not expressly authorized in writing by Chiller Tech Support LLC.

12. Prohibition on competitive use

You may not access or use the platform — or any output, workflow, or interface element — for the purpose of: (a) building or assisting in the development of a competing product; (b) benchmarking the platform against a competing product without prior written consent; (c) replicating the platform's AI logic, dispatch system, invoice-to-cash workflows, or interface design; or (d) training any machine-learning model on platform outputs without prior written consent.

Accounts found to be engaged in competitive intelligence gathering or product cloning may be terminated immediately without refund and may be subject to legal action under applicable trade secret, contract, and unfair competition law.

13. Prohibition on scraping and automated access

You may not use bots, crawlers, scrapers, browser automation, or any other automated means to: (a) access or extract content from the platform; (b) collect data about platform users or organizations; (c) monitor platform pricing or features for competitive purposes; or (d) create any database or index of platform content without express written permission. Automated access that bypasses rate limiting or harvests data at scale is a material breach and may result in immediate account termination and legal action.

14. User-submitted technical documentation

When you upload vehicle service manuals, wiring diagrams, diagnostic code tables, or similar materials, you represent that: (a) you have the right to share the document for service reference purposes; (b) the materials are non-proprietary, publicly available to certified technicians, or not subject to a confidentiality restriction prohibiting their use for diagnostic reference; and (c) you are not uploading materials clearly designated as trade secrets in contexts where redistribution is prohibited.

15. Non-solicitation

During your use of the Services and for two (2) years following termination of your account, you agree not to solicit, recruit, hire, or attempt to engage any Chiller Tech Support LLC employee, contractor, or personnel whose identity you learned through your use of the platform. A breach of this section entitles Chiller Tech Support LLC to seek injunctive relief in addition to all other available remedies.

16. No affiliation with third-party providers

Chiller Tech Support LLC integrates third-party technology services through their official interfaces. The Services are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any third-party technology provider. References to third-party products do not imply endorsement or affiliation.

17. Third-party services

The platform integrates with Square (payment processing) and Supabase (database and authentication). Use of these services is subject to their respective terms. Chiller Tech Support LLC is not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or conduct of third-party services.

18. Disclaimer of warranties

THE PLATFORM AND ALL PRODUCTS OF CHILLER TECH SUPPORT LLC ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE PLATFORM WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE. USE OF AI-GENERATED OUTPUTS IS AT YOUR SOLE RISK.

19. Limitation of liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, CHILLER TECH SUPPORT LLC AND ITS MEMBERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND CONTRACTORS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING LOST PROFITS, LOST DATA, EQUIPMENT DAMAGE, PERSONAL INJURY, OR BUSINESS INTERRUPTION, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM OR ITS PRODUCTS. OUR TOTAL CUMULATIVE LIABILITY TO YOU FOR ANY CLAIM SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE 90 DAYS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

Some jurisdictions do not permit the exclusion or limitation of certain damages. In such jurisdictions, liability will be limited to the extent permitted by law.

20. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Chiller Tech Support LLC and its members, officers, employees, and contractors from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of: (a) your use of or inability to use the Services; (b) your violation of these Terms or applicable law; (c) your infringement of any third-party rights; (d) any content you submit through the Services; or (e) your misuse of AI Co-Pilot output, including presenting such output as professional engineering advice or legal evidence without independent review by a licensed professional.

21. Binding arbitration and class action waiver

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS, INCLUDING YOUR RIGHT TO FILE A LAWSUIT IN COURT.

Mandatory binding arbitration.Except for claims that qualify for small claims court and the carve-out below, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Services shall be resolved exclusively by final and binding arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”) under its Commercial Arbitration Rules, conducted by a single arbitrator in Salt Lake County, Utah.

Class action waiver. YOU AND CHILLER TECH SUPPORT LLC EACH AGREE THAT ANY PROCEEDING SHALL BE CONDUCTED ONLY ON AN INDIVIDUAL BASIS AND NOT AS A CLASS, CONSOLIDATED, OR REPRESENTATIVE ACTION.

Jury trial waiver. TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, YOU WAIVE YOUR RIGHT TO A JURY TRIAL IN ANY DISPUTE ARISING FROM THESE TERMS.

Carve-out for injunctive relief. Chiller Tech Support LLC may seek emergency injunctive relief in any court of competent jurisdiction to prevent unauthorized access, reverse engineering, scraping, or any other irreparable harm for which monetary damages would be inadequate.

Informal resolution first. Before initiating arbitration, you agree to contact Chiller Tech Support LLC via serviceinstall.io/contact and provide 30 days for good-faith informal resolution.

Governing law. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

22. Changes to these Terms

Chiller Tech Support LLC reserves the right to update these Terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via a notice posted on the platform at least 14 days before they take effect. Your continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
