How we report evidence and corrections

A repeatable format for separating external reporting, primary evidence, and Service Install control claims.

Service Install control · product evidenceReviewed September 16, 2026Correction history available via methodology

The Field Notes label every brief by evidence state: reported, verified, Service Install control, or open. Reported external events are not presented as findings by Service Install, and product controls are not presented as independent research.

We prefer primary sources, retain the review date, name what remains open, and link the control implication when a brief touches the product. When a source changes or a claim is wrong, we update the article and record the correction rather than silently rewriting history.

The broader publication follows the same standard for technical writing. A field note can explain a diagnostic pattern or workflow principle without pretending to be a substitute for a licensed professional, manufacturer procedure, code requirement, or site-specific judgment.

This is an editorial operating standard, not a certification or legal opinion.
